If you are interested in becoming a volunteer literacy tutor with Literacy Action, we would love to have your help! New tutors are required to attend and complete a tutor training workshop before being assigned a student. Live tutor trainings are held regularly, with several follow-up actions required to complete the training process. 

*ALL WORKSHOPS ARE OPEN TO ALL POTENTIAL TUTORS FOR PULASKI, SALINE, FAULKNER, AND CONWAY COUNTIES*

Please specify one of the following dates when you submit your tutor training interest form below and let us know if you prefer to train in person or online:

January & February 2024-Training workshops Tuesdays at LIFEQUEST (No cost if this is your only LifeQuest course)

          TERM 1: Jan 16, 23, 30, Feb 6

          TERM 2: Feb 12, 20, 27, Mar 5

*The LifeQuest workshops are composed of 4 sessions each taught by LACA staff. Tutors will attend 4 weekly sessions to complete the workshop.

NEW for 2024: We are now using a new third-party comprehensive online training platform for the remote tutor training option. We’re excited about this new opportunity to offer prospective tutors access to high-quality tutor training that is  completed on your own schedule. It is facilitated so any questions will be answered within 24 hours.
